TESTIMONIALS
"Art Therapy really made me happy and I really loved all the art that I did. I felt really creative and happy that I did it. I've had some tough times but art therapy has helped me go through those things"

Student, aged 13
"It's been a pleasure to work with Lizzie. She has a lovely way of relaxing the students and adults so they feel comfortable accessing much needed therapy. Lizzie has always been adaptable and open to working to suit our needs as a school."

My Approach
First and foremost, I work with a relational approach. I aim to provide a warm, empathetic, and nurturing environment where you can feel safe to explore what you choose to bring with you. My training was based in psychodynamic principles which means I like to help clients think about how their past may be informing their present. I believe strongly in the values of choice and autonomy and infuse my practice with these principles. I work with a trauma informed and attachment focus. I recognise that you are the expert in you and your life and I work at the pace you set.
I believe that nature can also provide profoundly healing experiences and offer the opportunity to work outdoors as well as with art materials.
